U11 Sabres go 1-1 over weekend

The U11 Vauxhall Sabres were back in action this past weekend where they went 1-1.

On Saturday, the Sabres collected an 11-9 win over Bow Island/Foremost on the road. Cole Bouchard was on fire for the Sabres scoring five goals and collecting two assists while Lincoln Deleeuw also found the back of the net three times to go along with two assists. Jhett Stober had two goals, Austin Odland had a goal and an assist, and Grayson Honess had a single assist. Nash Stober faced 41 shots in the game.

Coming home, the Sabres were in tough against Raymond as they fell 13-3 on Sunday. Bouchard was strong once again as he potted all three Sabre goals while Stober and Deleeuw each had an assist. Gavin Bilsky saw 39 shots fired his way in net.

The Sabres have a pair of home games this weekend. On Saturday, the Sabres see Redcliff come to Vauxhall for a noon game while on Sunday, Irvine visits Vauxhall for another noon matchup.
