The New Democrats are facing off against the PCs, launching their province wide television and online ad campaign today.
“Albertans are angry at the PCs, they’re looking for an alternative and so we’re doing everything we can to connect with those people and let them know that we are here, we are listening and we are a viable option here in Alberta,” said the NDP’s Deputy Campaign Director, Brian Stokes.
“After 44 years, the PCs have had way too many second chances,” NDP Leader, Rachel Notley says, speaking directly to Albertans in the ad. “This time, choose the people who fight for our health care, for the education of our children, and the protection of our seniors.”
“This the largest ad campaign we’ve ever run and we are really excited about the opportunity to connect with voters in communities across the province,” said Stokes.
The ad began airing during the Calgary Flames’ first playoff hockey game and will continue throughout the election campaign.
