The fall season is closing in on its end as October begins and the Vauxhall Academy of Baseball Jets were back in Lethbridge this past weekend. After a week off with a handful of players in Ottawa, the team was back together for four games this past weekend as they took on the Prairie Baseball Academy once again.
Friday was a rough one for the Jets as they were unable to get a win as they lost the first game 6-4 and the second 10-5.
Drew Lenehan and Patrick MacInnis were solid on the bump on Friday while the offence saw contributions from Alexandre Laurence (3-7), Cardel Dick (2-7, double), Jack Wheatley (2-4), Brennan McTavish (3-6, triple), Colin Fisher (2-7), while Kyle Yip had a home run, and Eric Reiling and Ty Clemett each had a hit.
