When it came to Ed Stelmach’s disastrous Royalty Review that devastated Alberta’s economy, Industry Minister Jim Prentice was Ed Stelmach’s biggest cheerleader in Ottawa.
Jim Prentice is so busy making his campaign up on the fly, he forgot he “threw his support” behind Ed Stelmach’s Royalty Regime in 2007.
Prentice said the Royalty Review, “struck the right balance.”
As Industry Minister, Prentice could have challenged his PC party buddies and protected Alberta jobs, but instead he gave two thumbs up to Ed Stelmach’s ridiculous plan.
Now, he’s pretending to be on side with Alberta’s oil and gas industry.
Jim Prentice wears a different hat every day, depending on who he’s talking to. Even though he’s hiding from debating his budget, he can’t hide from his past actions.
Jim Prentice failed to protect Alberta jobs in 2007. Now, he’s slapping 59 new taxes on the backs of Albertans and failing to project Alberta jobs again.
