The new Highway 3 Connector bus began service on April 15 with passengers riding free for the first two weeks.
Southland Transportation, in partnership with the cities of Lethbridge and Medicine Hat, is running two return trips from Monday through Friday.
The daytime service, backed financially by the Alberta government, is planned as a pilot project for the next two years. As well as restoring direct service between the two cities, it’s timed to allow year-round access to residents of smaller communities along Highway 3.
Eastbound buses will leave the Lethbridge Transit downtown transfer point at 11:03 a.m. and 7:11 p.m., stopping at the Coaldale Sportsplex at 11:33 a.m. and 7:41 p.m. and the Taber arena at 12:03 and 8:11 p.m.
